Track Theorem Delta
What should I know about the Theorem Delta? •Asymmetric MC2 Asym core for strong flare and an early, continuous midlane read •Super Response Hybrid (HK22) cover at a 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair with Factory Compound finish •Recreates the trusted Theorem shape with a sharper skid/flip backend for medium to oily lanes
What the Specs Tell Us
The Track Super Response Hybrid HK22 Reactive coverstock blends midlane read with backend continuation, a balanced approach that works across a range of patterns. With an RG of 2.473 and a .046 differential, this core revs up earlier for a stronger midlane read with moderate flare for a balanced blend of power and predictability. Designed for medium-heavy oil, this ball has the surface and core combination to handle the volume and still make a move to the pocket.

Here is my take on the new Track Theorem Delta. This is the 4th in a highly successful line of Track Theorem bowling balls. The Theorem Delta features the same MC2 asymmetric core wrapped by a Super Response Hybrid HK-22 cover colored in black/indigo/blue. Box finish is Factory Compound over 1500 Siaair. I have drilled one with a 60 x 5 x 70 layout at box finish. I've tried the ball on various THS. I was a HUGE fan of the original Theorem. I loved the quicker response in an asymmetric core ball and the amount of back end it offered, especially where we see a lot of older, high friction synthetic surfaces. So, for comparison purposes, I pulled that same Theorem out of mothballs to do a little side by side with the new Theorem Delta. I put a fresh surface on it to make sure all things were equal. The Theorem Delta, by manufacturer's intent, is supposed to be very close to the original Theorem, perhaps being a touch more responsive than the original. Honestly, I see them as slightly different which is ok because in the end, I absolutely like what I see in the Theorem Delta. But I do see them as different. I tested them on mostly fresh THS. When I played at 4th arrow, the original Theorem got to the pocket with ease. The Theorem Delta struck but it was not solid. When I moved to the right at 3rd arrow closer to the dry, then the Theorem Delta struck solid. So, what I am seeing, doing side by side, is that the Theorem Delta is a touch cleaner and smoother than the original Theorem. That being said, I definitely see the Theorem Delta earning a spot in the arsenal and I think it will provide a very good benchmark performance on a variety of medium volume patterns. While my eye is telling me the shape and motion is different, I again fully like what I see with the Theorem Delta and I look forward to using it going forward. The Theorem Delta is readily available. See your local pro shop for more information.
Just received the ball and got it all drilled and fitted. Really like the feel and consistency of the product. Bowled a couple of days ago and can't wait till league play next week.
