2023 PBA Jr. Tackett
PBA Jr. Patterns
The 2023 PBA Jr. Tackett is a 44-foot house pattern with medium oil volume that creates a distinctly forgiving, walled environment through its 6.19:1 ratio and heavy forward-to-reverse oil split (15.85mL to 10.25mL). This asymmetrical distribution encourages length down the lanes while establishing pronounced edge control, making it more playable for strokers and high-rev players who can use the defined walls to their advantage without demanding the precision required on flatter patterns. The 522 total boards crossed indicates strong cross-lane movement once the ball finds friction, rewarding controlled backend reactions and punishing over-aggressive angles, while the medium volume allows for sufficient traction without creating the scorching friction points that define short PBA tour patterns.
