USBC Junior Gold Medium
2023 USBC Jr. Gold - Survivor
Junior Gold
The 2023 USBC Jr. Gold Survivor extends 42 feet with a forgiving 10:1 ratio that creates defined walls on the backend, allowing bowlers to play multiple angles without sharp transitions. Medium oil volume (26.2mL) with a slight reverse bias (13.75mL vs 12.45mL forward) encourages play deeper in the oil before angular recovery, rewarding straighter release paths while still providing margin for error on the dry boards. This KEGEL conditioned pattern balances the extended distance with enough defined structure to prevent the pattern from becoming a skid-snap house shot, making it competitive for junior bowlers developing arsenal control and track play consistency.
