PBA Legend Patterns Challenge
2024 PBA Aulby
Legend Patterns
The 2024 PBA Aulby is a 39-foot medium oil pattern with a forgiving 4.4:1 ratio that creates defined wall play, making it one of the more playable Legend patterns for competitive bowlers. The asymmetrical oil distribution (14.4mL forward, 12.45mL reverse) and 537 boards crossed encourage strong angular motion down lane, favoring direct line bowlers and those who can control backends while still rewarding slight adjustments in track play. This pattern's medium volume at shorter distance yields quicker ball response than traditional PBA patterns, allowing both power players and precision bowlers to find scoring opportunities without excessive lane reading.
