2024 PBA Badger
PBA Animal Patterns
The 2024 PBA Badger is a 47-foot heavy oil pattern with a 3.19:1 ratio that demands precision and backend reaction management across its substantial 574 boards of coverage. The forward-heavy oil distribution (16.6mL vs 12.1mL reverse) creates a defined friction transition, allowing aggressive ball motion down lane while the long distance and robust volume reward strong rev rates and controlled skid through the heads. This moderately challenging pattern pushes bowlers toward equipment that reads the lane efficiently in the midlanes without overreacting early, favoring controlled strokers and players who can execute consistent releases rather than those relying on extreme backend angle for area targets.
